Fèis Chataibh in Sutherland promotes Gaelic song and culture to children and young people. Throughout the year, Fèis Chataibh hold workshops in traditional musical instruments as well as Gaelic song, arts and storytelling, drama and Gaelic language.

Fèis Chataibh’s main events include:

Annual Summer Week (first week of school summer holidays)
Winter/spring Weekend Workshops (various weekends throughout the year)
Ceilidh Trail (July/August tour of Sutherland and Caithness)
These events are carried out in the village of Golspie and usually take place in Golspie High School/Community Centre. At our events, we aim to get the best possible tutors. We seek local artists as well as getting tutors from all around Scotland.
