TRACS Training and Development

TRACS invites young people to get involved in a great variety of workshops and mentored events, improve your skills and share your experiences with fellow trad art enthusiasts this summer!

First up is the 3 Day Summer School   Sign up to the full experience, or select a day session that sparks your interest. The Summer School is designed to offer a wide cultural scope, including seasonal festivals and customs, landscape lore and religion, storytelling and music.

Brazilian singer-songwriter Renata Rosa, delves into polyphonic harmoniesand unearths musical influences from Europe, Africa and Brazil, introducing you to a broad spectrum of singing styles.

How do we engage young children in storytelling and hold their attention? Whether you’re a parent, teacher or storyteller, this workshop led by Lorna Shields and Kirsty Thomson, will develop your approach in working with young audiences and revive your inner child.

Finally TRACS will be hosting another session of their incredibly popular workshop series Starting with stories 1, open to anyone who enjoys telling stories and would like to learn more about it and Starting with Stories 2, for more advanced storytellers that want to develop their performance and practice.
