Friends of Highland Music operate a Grants Scheme to help young people (23 and under) resident in the Highland Council area.
What are they for?
Meeting specific costs towards the advancement of the applicant’s knowledge and experience in the field of Scottish traditional music.
They may include
==> fees for study courses,
==> course materials
==> related travel and accommodation
==> purchase of study material
==> costs of producing recordings.
….but not the purchase of instruments or accessory equipment and they cannot be back dated.
Applications must be submitted two months in advance. Grants are subject to approval by FoHM Committee on a case by case basis.
