The Creative Skills Artist Development Bursary is an opportunity for two individuals to shadow the work of Creative Skills artists as they deliver this groundbreaking programme. This would be an ideal opportunity for Early Years artists wishing to gain a better understanding of the Creative Skills approach, or for artists who already work in participatory settings who wish to learn more about how a child-centred approach can be applied when working with the very young.
Artists from a variety of backgrounds at any stage of their careers are invited to apply. You should have a keen interest in developing your artistic practice for and with very young children, their parents and Early Years practitioners. Priority will be given to applications from artists living or working in the Highland/Moray area, though applications from elsewhere in Scotland may be considered.
Successful applicants must be free to attend all four dates of the training programme: Jan 16, Jan 30, Feb 20 and Mar 5, 2016. They will liase with The Creative Skills Manager, Coordinator and Artists as appropriate, and will be asked to reflect on their learning, including creating content for the Creative Skills blog.
